Zdzisław Beksiński (24 February, 1929, Sanok, Poland - 27 february, 2005, Warsaw, Poland) was a painter, photographer and sculptor. He started to paint because a friend asked him to paint a picture as a gift for his wife.
His artwork was surrealistic and apocalytical.
